===Policy===<br />

<li style="margin-bottom:15px;">Undergraduate student appeals shall be carried out according to procedures delineated in “Guidelines for Handling Student Appeals of Academic Evaluations" (Appendix N). In conformity with the <span style="text-decoration:underline;">[https://nebraska.edu/docs/board/bylaws.pdf Bylaws of the Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska]</span> (Amended May 25, 2016), Paragraph 5.3, a student shall have the opportunity to appeal any evaluation of academic performance which s/he feels has been prejudiced or capricious.</li><br />
<li style="margin-bottom:15px;">A nursing student whose grade is under appeal shall be allowed to continue nonclinical academic activities until a decision is made by the Undergraduate Academic Review Committee. A student shall be allowed to continue clinical activities in courses which do not have the failed course as a prerequisite.</li><br />
