===Policy===
<p style="margin-bottom:15px;max-width:70em !important;">The College of Nursing will accept non-nursing credit by examination (e.g.: AP, CLEP, Dantes, P/NP) according to the following criteria:</p>
<ol style="max-width:67em !important;">
    <li style="margin-bottom:15px;">Credit will be awarded on the basis of examinations from accredited and approved institutions according to UNMC academic records if the score meets the transferring institution’s requirements for credit.
        <ol style="list-style-type: lower-alpha;">
            <li style="margin-bottom:15px; margin-top:15px;">There is a maximum of 12 credits hours of prerequisite/co-requisite courses that can be earned by examination.</li>
            <li style="margin-bottom:15px;">Up to 12 credit hours recorded on college transcripts of transfer students will be accepted by the College of Nursing from the transfer institution’s transcript.</li>
