Policy
The College of Nursing will accept non-nursing credit by examination (e.g.: AP, CLEP, Dantes, P/NP) according to the following criteria:
- Credit will be awarded on the basis of examinations from accredited and approved institutions according to UNMC academic records if the score meets the transferring institution’s requirements for credit.
- There is a maximum of 12 credits hours of prerequisite/co-requisite courses that can be earned by examination.
- Up to 12 credit hours recorded on college transcripts of transfer students will be accepted by the College of Nursing from the transfer institution’s transcript.
