An employee may not be appointed to a position in which the employee would supervise or be supervised by an immediate family member, unless reviewed by the Assistant Vice Chancellor, Executive Director of Human Resources, the Board of Regents, and reported to the State of Nebraska Accountability and Disclosure Commission. Immediate family shall mean wife, husband, children, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, brother, sister, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, guardian, ward, stepfather, stepmother, stepdaughter, stepson, or persons bearing the same relationship to the spouse.
