    <li style="margin-bottom:15px;">Per UNMC requirements, all College of Nursing (CON) courses use Canvas as the learning management system to deliver course content. </li>

    <li style="margin-bottom:15px;">Protected Health Information (PHI) about patients/clients is not permitted in Canvas (including dates of service, except year) since the LMS is not Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant. For patient-sensitive data, only use UNMC-approved cloud storage solutions (Microsoft Office 365 and Enterprise Box). </li>

Purpose
