General Position Description

The Assistant Dean for Research will play a crucial role in advancing the research agenda of the UNMC CON. The Assistant Dean for Research will work closely with the Associate Dean for Research and other key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that promote and support research excellence across the institution. This role will support faculty research across all five campuses and requires strong leadership skills, effective communication skills, the ability to build teams, a deep understanding of academic research, and the ability to cultivate relationships with internal and external partners.

FTE Allocations for the Assistant Dean Role

Administration (0.20 FTE)

  • Ability to negotiate based on the needs of the college.
