The Leadership Philosophy of the College of Nursing invites the College’s community of professionals (faculty, staff, and students) to embrace the qualities of leadership so as to co-create the College’s ability to meet its mission and vision. A philosophy of leadership calls us to:

  • Anticipate and shape positive change
  • Demonstrate resiliency and pro-active thinking
  • Seek and nurture effective partnerships
  • Encourage risk taking toward creative possibilities
  • Enhance the motivation and performance of self and others
  • Deliver results across boundaries
