Purpose
Establishes course enrollment guidelines for all College of Nursing undergraduate and professional graduate courses.
Scope
This policy applies to all CON undergraduate and professional graduate courses.
Policy
The minimum enrollment for all courses is five students. Any exceptions to the minimum enrollment figures require the approval of the appropriate division assistant dean, the program director, the Associate Dean for Academic Programs and the dean.
Individual faculty members may not make independent decisions to close enrollments in College of Nursing undergraduate and professional graduate courses. When it appears that excess enrollment is developing, the appropriate division assistant dean will communicate with the appropriate program director and Associate Dean for Academic Programs to close enrollment in any course.
