UNMC is committed to providing a safe and healthful work environment to prevent or minimize employee, physician, volunteer or student exposure to bloodborne pathogens and offer appropriate initial treatment/follow-up, when or if such exposures occur.
Employees are responsible for completing mandatory bloodborne pathogens training, if required for their individual job. Failure to complete required mandatory training may result in disciplinary action.
