Purpose
Establish guidelines for development, approval, and expending of grant budgets.
Scope
Applies to all faculty engaged in a research grant.
Policy
- Grant proposal budgets are to be developed collaboratively between the Principal Investigator and the Niedfelt Nursing Research Center personnel.
- Budgeted FTE must have approval of the Division Assistant Dean. Overall budget must have approval from the Associate Dean for Research and UNMC College of Nursing Dean or their designee before the grant is submitted to Sponsored Programs Administration.
- When a grant is funded, the budget will be expended in accordance with Sponsored Programs Administration Policy No. 3001.
