===General Position Description===
<p style="max-width:70em !important; margin-bottom:15px;">All faculty assigned to an undergraduate course are an integral part of the teaching team. Each member is charged with maintaining integrity of the concept-based curriculum, which includes adhering to concepts and exemplars as assigned to each course. The course coordinators and each team member participates in the decision-making process regarding the course. The team works together to facilitate the implementation of the course curriculum and to ensure inclusion of active learning strategies.  The team member reports to the assistant dean.</p>
<p style="max-width:70em !important; margin-bottom:15px;">General areas of responsibility include participation in curriculum implementation and instruction, communication, evaluation and resource identification.</p>

===Curriculum and Instruction===
<p style="max-width:70em !important; margin-bottom:15px;">Maintaining integrity of the common curriculum, the undergraduate team member is responsible to work closely with the undergraduate course coordinator to provide smooth implementation of the course within the semester. The team member works with the course coordinator to identify specific teaching responsibilities and other activities within the course based on the expertise and interest of individual faculty. Responsibilities in a didactic course may include presenting classroom concepts with exemplars, posting of classroom materials on the learning management system, examination preparation, proctoring and grading of assignments. Responsibilities in a clinical course may include making student assignments, grading clinical paperwork, keeping current with the material presented in class including reinforcing concepts during the clinical experience and completing student evaluations. Team members may be asked to assist with other activities dealing with course implementation as the semester progresses.</p>

===Communication===
<p style="max-width:70em !important; margin-bottom:15px;">Each undergraduate team member communicates in a manner that will facilitate information exchanges and promote a positive working environment within the course. Each team member will provide information regarding the curriculum, teaching and student issues to the undergraduate course coordinator. Any information or question that is not the direct responsibility of the team member will be referred to the course coordinator. The team member communicates student’s progress in a clinical course to the course coordinator and other administrators as needed. Attendance at course meetings is expected.</p>

===Evaluation===
<p style="max-width:70em !important; margin-bottom:15px;">The undergraduate team member works actively with the course members and course coordinator in the development, implementation and evaluation of all assessments in the course. For clinical courses the team member evaluates and documents student’s clinical performance in a timely manner and works with the course coordinator in developing plans for improvement if warranted.</p>

===Resources===
<p style="max-width:70em !important; margin-bottom:15px;">Each team member is responsible for identifying resources and communicating this to the course coordinator along with learning current and new resources, including technology on each respective campus to promote student achievement of course outcomes.</p>
