Library: Library Building Access and Hours

The McGoogan Library is staffed during regular business hours: Monday – Friday from 8:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (excluding UNMC holidays). The library is currently accessible to users with a UNMC or Nebraska Medicine ID badge.

The library is accessible 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for UNMC faculty, staff, and students and Nebraska Medicine staff. A current UNMC ID or Nebraska Medicine badge is required for building access outside of the business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 p.m.

To receive library specific emergency alerts, text the word Library to 79516. A preexisting UNMC Alerts accountt is required.
