<p style="margin-bottom:15px; max-width:70em !important;">The Director of Global Health is accountable for the administrative, financial, and programmatic effectiveness of the College’s international activities. S/he, in partnership with the CON Global Health committee, is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of international programs in the College. The Director represents the College at University level planning for international programs in education, research, and practice. In addition, s/he represents the CON in funding initiatives and at the global and strategic level. </p>
                                  <li>The student faculty advisor may be present at the hearing but may not actually participate in the proceedings unless the UG-ARC chair specifically permits.</li>
 
                                  <li>Faculty may appear if desired or called to testify, may present prior submitted evidence, and answer questions from the UG-ARC Hearing Board.<ol type="1"><li>Faculty may also refuse any listed items in 4 (d) b (iii).</li></ol>

    <li style="margin-left:3em;">Supports and leads the College in developing and maintaining effective relationships with partners local and abroad</li>
                                  <li>The Dean will be consulted in the case of academic dismissal or suspension </li>
    <li style="margin-left:3em;">Establishes, maintains, and evaluates international programs in order to meet standards and regulations of nursing education at home and abroad</li>
                                  <li>The student and faculty will appear in the case of academic dismissal or suspension </li>
    <li style="margin-left:3em;">In partnership with the UNMC Office for Global Engagement, the CON Office for Global Health and the Global Health committee, assures students and faculty are prepared for international travel representing the CON</li>

    <li style="margin-left:3em;">A bachelors and a graduate degree in nursing and an earned doctorate in nursing or a related field</li>
    <li style="margin-left:3em;">Registered to practice nursing in Nebraska </li>
    <li style="margin-left:3em;">Must have vision for and experience in international affairs as the impact global health issues in nursing </li>
    <li style="margin-left:3em;">Strong ability to work well with many cultures and other disciplines </li>
    <li style="margin-left:3em;">S/he has understanding of current issues of international security, travel, and visa requirements</li>
