<li  style="margin-left:3em;">Baccalaureate or master’s degree in nursing, with earned doctorate in nursing or related field (e.g., one graduate degree must be in nursing);</li>

<li  style="margin-left:3em;">Possess a general understanding of higher education, knowledge of the role of continuing education within institutions of higher learning; and current  competency in nursing professional development practice;</li>

<li  style="margin-left:3em;">Familiarity with the health care delivery system, education of health professionals and current issues in those fields;</li>

<li  style="margin-left:3em;">Expertise in adult learning theory, curriculum development, instructional technology, and evaluation methods;</li>

<li  style="margin-left:3em;">Demonstrated leadership abilities, managerial skills, creativity, ability to make timely decisions, to collaborative effectively, and to be open to the ideas of others and to constructive feedback; </li>

<li  style="margin-left:3em;">Licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as a registered nurse in Nebraska</li>
