===General Position Description===
<p style="margin-bottom:15px; max-width:70em !important;">The Assistant Dean of Evaluation and Continuous Quality Improvement (ECQI) is responsible for implementing best practices regarding the on-going assessment, analysis, and interpretation of all aspects of the College’s internal and external evaluation work, and assuring congruence with the mission and vision of the College of Nursing and UNMC.</p>

===Organizational Relationships===
<p style="margin-bottom:15px; max-width:70em !important;">The Assistant Dean of ECQI reports to the Dean of the College of Nursing and works closely with the College's leadership in advancing the overall assessment and evaluation of the college's programs and missions. As a member of the faculty the Assistant Dean of ECQI participates in the tripartite faculty role of teaching, research and service. External to the College, the position collaborates with the UNMC Academic Affairs Director of Institutional Research as well as peer personnel throughout UNMC and represents the College on various University-level committees related to evaluation.</p>
