CON Undergraduate Semester Coordinator Role Description: Difference between revisions

<p style="max-width:70em !important; margin-bottom:15px;">While maintaining the integrity of the concept-based curriculum and ensuring inclusion of active learning strategies, the undergraduate semester coordinator is primarily responsible for facilitating implementation of the curricula relative to the appointed semester, and communicating with all undergraduate semester coordinators on her/his campus. In addition, the semester coordinator may be asked to provide input into team members’ ongoing development and semester success. This responsibility is an opportunity for professional growth and development of leadership skills, and should be rotated among faculty with previous experience teaching in the courses within that semester. The semester coordinator reports to the assistant deans on the respective campuses, the undergraduate program director, and other administrators as needed.</p>

<p style="max-width:70em !important; margin-bottom:15px;">General areas of responsibility include coordination of semester curricula implementation and instructional methods, communication, evaluation, and resource identification for budget needs.</p>
