Contract or Agreement for Student Training Policy

According to the Bylaws of the Board of Regents, a written contract or agreement is required for all affiliations with other institutions for student training. At minimum, the document should include the following elements:

  1. All contracts must be by and between the "Board of Regents, governing body for the University of Nebraska Medical Center" and the affiliated institution
  2. Basic rights and responsibilities of both parties to the agreement and may additionally include expressions of intent and matters that will be mutually undertaken by the two institutions
  3. Professional liability insurance statement for employees and students
  4. Hold Harmless statement for both institutions
  5. Non-discrimination clause
  6. Signature block
